Okay, this page may take a while to completely load but I think it is worth it. Below is an example of how technology and bored college kids can embarrass a local news station. During one of the last snow storms in Raleigh, NC, the local News14 channel decided to make it easier for employers to place closing and delay announcements on the TV screen. They provided a web-based form that collected information without any means of validating that the information was correct or the company existed.
