For Them What Care

Have I mentioned lately I love football? Of course my good humor may change after Carolina Panthers (2-0) play the Minnesota Vikings (0-2) next week in the Super Dome. The Vikings are going to be looking for a little playback being that they were the only team to lose to the Panthers last season. For this week anyway I can at least say the following:

Teams the Panthers have something in common with: Patriots, Dolphins, Broncos, Chargers, Raiders, Bears, Saints.

Teams the Panthers have nothing in common with: Rams, Steelers, Vikings, Falcons, Bengals, Seahawks, Ravens, Lions.

Teams that cannot have a better record than the Panthers by the time we face them: Vikings, Packers.

Team that likely will not have a better record than the Panthers by the time we face them: Cardinals, Dallas, Atlanta (they have a bye week in there).

Teams that have allowed fewer points, less yards/game, yards/play, and first downs/game than the Panthers: Chargers.

Teams that have had zero turnovers: Panthers.

Teams that lead the NFL in the turnover ratio with +4: Patriots, Dolphins, PANTHERS.

Teams that have more combined sacks/interceptions/fumble recoveries than the Panthers: Chargers, Patriots.

QB with a higher QB rating than Peete (105.5): Fielder, Holcomb, Matthews (hasn't played yet), Brady.

Teams that have a higher receiving yards/catch value than the Panthers: Texans, Bears, Cowboys.

Not bad for last year's worst in the NFL 1-15 team. Congratulations to the Saints and the Patriots for their upset wins! Steelers...damn guys.
