Good people...

You do not stand alone...

I know you feel lonely and surrounded by those who hate you for your morality but you are not alone...

There are some people who are both educated AND religious...

There ARE others that believe as you do...

They are probably even your friends, neighbors, and maybe even that woman who always sits across from you on the bus...

Most of us rarely speak up because we hate being accused of "preaching"...

You are told there is no way you could have come to you position independently so someone else must have spoon-fed you your opinions...

You are told judging others actions as either "good" or "bad" based on your own upbringing is "wrong"...

Our problem is we don't have an agenda. We are not fighting for a cause...

We appreciate a status quo excepting only those incremental changes that are extremely necessary...

We say our prayers, love our neighbors, and smile even when others are frowning...

We are the silent majority...

But if you back us too far into a corner, spit in our faces, tell us our opinions mean nothing, that they are outdated, that we are shallow minded, and that if we only listened to the enlightened minority all would be at peace...

Well...

Just...be careful of the law of unintended consequences.
